This tour
brings you to a district 12Km away from the town of
Chiangmai Known as 'Sankamphaeng District" where the
silk and cotton industries are. Here you will catch
a glimpse of the complete Life -Cycle of the silk
moths.
From mating, egg laying, caterpillars feeding on
Mulberry leaves, making cocoons and finally to the
Silk we know of today. Included in this short tour,
we will also bring you to Borsang, a small town
known for the manufacture of the umbrella from paper
to the finished product Along this road various
stopovers will be made to view teakwood carving,
lacquerware, silverware and Celadon pottery where
you might want to pick up a little souvenier for
yourself, loved one or your family. |
